The WNHF is a group of very varied individuals ranging from 20’s to the rather mature! You must be 18 to train but we have teenagers who are interested and assist with events. Members include nurses, teachers, therapists, psychotherapists, civil service officers, caterers, manual workers….working and retired.

Members have a passion for helping others and have often turned to healing for themselves or friends before taking up training.

Dawn’s Profile

In the mid 1970’s several county based groups broke away from The National Federation of Spiritual Healers (NFSH) under the auspices of Barney Camfield who then set up The Southwest Centre. This evolved into The Devon and Cornwall Healing Fellowship which later became 2 individual groups.

In the early 1980’s one of them, The Wellbeing Centre was granted independent charity status and was re-named The Westcountry Natural Healing Fellowship. A committee was set up and has since led the way for the charity. The membership has grown and we now have approximately 80 members.

Our membership covers the whole southwest area in Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Dorset, Wiltshire, Bristol, Hampshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire. Because it is not restricted we also have members outside the area. We are also affiliated to a larger national healing organisation, the BAHA (British Alliance of Healing Association) and have contacts in Spain, France and Scandinavia.
